NerveNetwork Launches NerveMint
We are pleased to announce that NerveNetwork has launched a new feature — NerveMint. Currently, crosschain bridge between NerveNetwork and BTC network is successfully implemented, that allows users to bridge BTC assets into NerveNetwork and utilize BTC assets for various use cases within the NerveNetwork ecosystem. With the NerveMint feature, users will be able to:
- Exchange assets using NerveSwap, create trading-pairs, and add liquidity.
- Create reward farms using NerveFarm.
- Perform cross-chain swap using SwapBox.
- Send gift cards using ParaBox.
- Access the gas-free payments application — PayBox.
The inspiration for NerveMint product design originated from BRC-20 tokens in Bitcoin ecosystem. There is an undeniable fact that transactions associated with Bitcoin network are becoming expensive, the NerveMint’s approach is to migrate the mint process of BTC/BRC20 and other blockchain assets, such as ETH/ERC20 to the Nerve Layer 2 network. Deployers can flexibly set minting fees, the fees can be used to add liquidity directly on NerveSwap and locked. We believe this solution ensures a fair launch for participants, as liquidity is crucial for projects. Before tokens issued using NerveMint get listed on any reliable decentralized exchanges and develop a solid community, the project’s liquidity can hardly be guaranteed, this a problem that NerveMint aims to solve.
Currently, the NerveMint deployment feature is in the very final testing phase and will meet the community soon. Once it is activated, anyone is free to use it and deploy a token on it.
The launch of NerveMint is believed to bring more use cases and asset flow to the 30+ blockchain networks supported by NerveSwap and NerveNetwork, releasing the natural crosschain advantages of Nerve’s ecosystem products. We aim to contribute to our partner‘s ecosystem development, especially for BRC-20 ecosystem projects. NerveMint can help a startup project obtain initial liquidity through a fair mint and ensure liquidity security. As the new feature matures, we will strongly promote the use of NerveMint, encourage and seek projects across different blockchains to launch their token on NerveMint, which will help these projects to obtain initial liquidity and user support from the Bitcoin community.
